This online FV calculator works exactly like the FV function that comes with MS Excel spreadsheet program. This online calculator accepts the same number of arguments as the FV function in MS Excel does. The arguments you provide include the RATE of interest, the NPER or number of periods that may be years, quarters, months, weeks or days, and PV the present value of investment and the PMT or the periodic payment here you can also select the TYPE of payment such as END OF PERIOD or START of period. The online FV calculator will help find future value of a lump sum and future value of ordinary annuity or annuity due just as the FV function does in MS Excel. Follow the steps outlined below to see how you may find future value where you deposit $5000 in a bank account followed by one annual payment at an interst rate of 30%.
